Study Finds Ozempic May Weaken Muscles Even as Muscle Size Remains Stable

UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HEALTH, AUG 5 – Mouse study shows semaglutide reduces lean muscle mass by about 10% and decreases muscle strength despite minor muscle size changes, highlighting need for human clinical trials.
