- The HHS-commissioned report surveyed 1,208 United States adults regarding their views on gender identity and threats from groups including "white supremacists, men, the Supreme Court, etc."
- Respondents rated their support for violent events targeting Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk, and UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a scale ranging from "Not at all justified" to "Completely justified."
- Researcher Colin Wright told The Post that accepting gender ideology appeared to "augment authoritarian attitudes on support for political violence," linking the ideology to justifying violence.
- Titled "Where the Clinic Meets the Movement: Does Gender Ideology Arm Left-Wing Authoritarian Psychology?," the report also questioned whether left-wing authoritarianism is "just a proxy for being liberal.
