Marsha Blackburn says her legislation would bring back familial DNA testing at the border
Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn has reintroduced a bill requiring DNA testing to determine the relationship between illegal immigrants and any accompanying children crossing the US-Mexico border.
The Biden administration reportedly ended all DNA familial testing at the border on May 31, which Blackburn believes will lead to an uptick in migrants using minors to fraudulently present themselves as family units seeking asylum.
