Trump Administration Revokes 300,000 Visas, State Department Says
The State Department says the Trump administration has revoked more than 300,000 visas since January 2025 for criminal activity, public-safety threats, fraud, misrepresentation, or other immigration violations.
At least 4,000 visas were revoked for people who engaged in or facilitated birth tourism.
The department reported that a quarter of visas revoked in 2025 involved assaults or related crimes, while others involved driving under the influence, theft, or substance abuse.
State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott said the administration revoked visas faster than any administration in history.
