Luma AI's AI Agents Promise to End the Multi-Tool Mess

Luma's AI agents integrate multiple models to enhance creative workflows, reducing costs and enabling a $15 million campaign to be localized in 40 hours under $20,000, Jain said.

  • On March 5, 2026, Luma launched Luma Agents at a San Francisco event, making API access available with a staged rollout, says Jain.
  • Luma designed the agents in response to patchwork tools and sequential processes that hinder creative teams, ad agencies and studios from scaling output without sacrificing quality.
  • Built on the Uni-1 architecture, Luma Agents are trained on multimodal data, maintain persistent context, and were beta-tested with more than 100 clients since December.
  • Early customers report Publicis Groupe Middle East, Serviceplan Group, Adidas, Mazda, and Humain are using Luma Agents across strategy, creative development, and production, with executives saying it could speed workflows.
  • Luma, backed by $1.1 billion in funding at a $4 billion valuation, raised $900 million last November to build a supercluster data center amid competition from Higgsfield and Netflix's InterPositive deal.
