Cyclocross rider Inge van der Heijden from Schaijk won the Leiecross, a race in Kortrijk, Belgium. The European champion for Crelan-Corendon rode solo in front for almost the entire race. Behind her, her Belgian teammate Marion Norbert Riberolle finished second. Third place also went to a Belgian: Julie Brouwers. The cyclocross riders will compete in a World Cup race in Namur, Belgium, on Sunday.
