Ex-Bears GM Ryan Pace Joins Vikings
Ryan Pace returns to the NFC North after six years as Bears GM and will help a Vikings front office that was overhauled this offseason.
On Tuesday, the Minnesota Vikings hired former Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace as a football advisor, adding significant experience to the staff of new general manager Nolan Teasley.
Minnesota remodeled its front office following the January firing of general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, with Nolan Teasley now assembling his staff after joining from the Seattle Seahawks.
During his six-year stint as general manager of the Chicago Bears, Pace compiled a 48-65 record with two playoff appearances, then spent four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.
Teasley also brought in former Seattle Seahawks executive Azzaam Kapadia as assistant director of pro scouting, with Pace serving as a "GM-level sounding board" according to reports.
The front office overhaul aims to help the Vikings rebound from their 9-8 record in 2025, with these additions providing strategic depth to support head coach Kevin O'Connell.
