Ibrahim Maalouf: the musician complains against the Deauville Festival after his expulsion from the jury in 2024

After being removed from the jury of the Deauville festival in the summer of 2024, Ibrahim Maalouf decided to assign the institution to the Paris Economic Court. He demanded a coquette sum as reparation for all the concert proposals he had to refuse.

The musician was ousted in 2024 from the jury of the Festival de Deauville because of the charges of sexual assault on a minor brought against him a few years ago. A case in which he was released in 2020 but which had installed "a malaise on the team" according to the management of the festival.

Aside from the jury of the Deauville festival in the summer of 2024, Ibrahim Maalouf assigned the festival to court and claimed 500,000 euros for moral and economic damage.

Disappeared from the Deauville festival in 2024 following the accusations against him, the trumpeter counter-attack, according to BFMTV's reports. Eight months later, the case was re-launched, and Ibrahim Maalouf claimed 500,000 euros in reparations.

The trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf had been released from charges of sexual assault on minor in 2020. Despite the court ruling, the Deauville festival had decided to remove him from the event in 2020.
