Earlier this year, Esther and Quentin fulfilled their Italian dream and bought a spacious waterfront apartment. Not by the sea, but on the idyllic Lake Orta in Piedmont, Northern Italy. Although only some minor finishing touches were needed, buying agent Nicolas Dewulf estimates the apartment's value, barely half a year later, to be considerably higher than the 258,000 euros the couple paid.
