Slovak hygienists have not detected any dangerous parasites at the Vadaš thermal swimming pool in the southern Slovak town of Štúrovo, after which an 11-year-old boy died after being infected with the parasite Naegleria fowleri. It is still unclear where the boy contracted the brain-infecting amoeba. The swimming pool has been closed since mid-June and will be fully operational again from Tuesday.
