Every second full-time woman reduces her working hours after her first child

Two years after the birth of their first child, 49 percent of women have returned to full-time work, according to the survey.

A new analysis from the Confederation of Danish Industries shows a continuing clear gender gap when it comes to working hours after parenthood.

Almost half of Danish women who worked full-time before the birth of their first child go part-time when they return to the labor market.
