- Traceback investigations identified Evergreen as the common grower for the outbreak, which includes 55 patients across Idaho, Montana and Washington; sprouts were distributed to three distributors in Washington between Aug. 24 and Sept. 2.
- Consumers who purchased the affected sprouts are urged to immediately discard the product; anyone experiencing Salmonella symptoms should seek medical attention, as symptoms typically appear six hours to six days after eating contaminated food.
