European Wax Center $5M Settlement: How to Find Out if You Qualify and File a Claim
The chain denies wrongdoing and says eligible customers may claim up to $10 each, with payments varying by the number of valid claims.
European Wax Center agreed to a $5 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit, though the company denies violating any law and settled only to avoid operational disruptions.
The lawsuit alleges the company collected data via "pixels, cookies, code, and/or tracking or analytics tools" on the WaxCenter website and shared it with third parties without consumer consent.
Any U.S. resident who visited the WaxCenter website between June 30, 2023, and April 2, 2026, qualifies for the settlement; eligible customers may receive up to $10 per valid claim.
Customers must submit claim forms online or by mail by June 30, with a court hearing scheduled for July 15 to determine final approval before payments begin.
By filing a claim, participants waive their right to sue European Wax Center over these allegations, and final payouts may decrease depending on the total number of valid claims filed.
