European Shares Seen Tad Higher At Open
European stocks are seen opening a tad higher on Monday amid bets that the U.S. Federal Reserve may hold interest rates steady later this month. Amid lingering concerns about elevated Treasury yields, investors now await the release of ISM Services PMI later in the day and the minutes of the September FOMC meeting on Wednesday for additional clues on the Fed's rate trajectory.
European stock markets, with the exception of France, are trading positively on expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will keep interest rates unchanged in October.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.36% to 633.6 points, while the Eurostoxx 50 recorded a marginal increase of 0.01% to 6,239 points.
