Julija Lovrenčič finished 22nd at the European Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn. She achieved her goal by qualifying for the free skate, after which she was 20th. Estonia's Nina Petrokina became the European champion in front of her home fans.

Niina Petrõkina performed brilliantly in the women's individual free skate at the European Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn and became the first Estonian to win the European Championship.

Slovenian figure skater Julija Lovrenčič, who already fulfilled her main goal on the first day of the European Championships in Tallinn - to qualify for the free program - today finished the Old Continent Championship in 22nd place. The new European champion, thanks to the best free program in front of domestic fans, became Estonian Niina Petrokina.

Nina Pinzarrone won the bronze medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in the Estonian capital Tallinn with a total of 191.44 points. Jade Hovine came sixteenth with 154.46 points. The European title went to Estonian Niina Petrokina with 208.18 points.

"It was only a matter of time before she showed herself at her best in the right place. It was the day before yesterday and it will be today too!" declared Niina Petrõkina's training partner Arlet Levandi about an hour and a half before the most important free program of Petrõkina's life. And Levandi's gut feeling was right - it did! As of today, Niina Petrõkina is the European champion.
