Romania has placed six medals, of which three gold, two bronze and one silver, in the six finals in which it has representatives on Saturday at the European Canoati Championships from Plovdiv (Bulgaria).
Magdalena Rusu and Simona Radiş brought home the first medal for Romania after winning the women's double sculls (W2-) event at the European Championships in Plovdiv. Shortly after, the crew of Florin Arteni and Florin Lehaci won the gold medal in the men's double sculls (M2-).
