Europe Boosts Artillery Ammunition Production Sixfold in 2 Years, NATO Chief Says

Europe's defense industry plans to produce 2 million artillery shells this year, a sixfold increase since 2023, supporting Ukraine amid rising threats from Russia and China, NATO Chief said.

The production "is expected to reach 2 million rounds by the end of this year," NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said.
