When Is 'Euphoria' Season 3 Finale? Will There Be Another Season?
The season 3 finale follows major plot twists and a cast shakeup, while creator Sam Levinson says he has no plans for season 4.
On Sunday, May 31, HBO aired the Season 3 finale of Euphoria, titled "In God We Trust," at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max, concluding the Emmy-winning drama's latest run.
The penultimate episode killed off Nate Jacobs, played by Jacob Elordi, who was buried alive and poisoned by a rattlesnake, leaving Maddy and Cassie in the hands of the criminal Alamo.
Episode 8 ran 93 minutes, ranking among HBO's longest episodes ever, matching the finale of "The Wire" and the Season 3 closer of "The White Lotus," according to Esquire.
Series creator Sam Levinson told Variety he writes "every season like it's the last season" and has "no plans" for Season 4, while actress Zendaya said "closure" is coming for the series.
HBO has not officially announced a Season 4, though Levinson stated he is currently focused on delivering his best work with Season 3, leaving the series' future uncertain despite fan speculation.
