BRUSSELS, June 11 - An adviser to Europe's top court on Thursday recommended it to dismiss an appeal lodged by the European Commission against a 2024 ruling forcing the disclosure of information on COVID-19 vaccine contracts. Read more at straitstimes.com.
Advocate General Athanasios Rantos of the Court of Justice of the EU found that the European Commission failed to ensure sufficiently broad public access to contracts for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines. The CJEU will issue a final judgment in this case.
