On Wednesday (24 April), the European Parliament finally gave its green light to the amendment of certain environmental provisions for payments under the EU subsidy system, which is due to enter into force in June with the approval of the Member States.
MEPs in Strasbourg voted in favour of giving farmers more flexibility in complying with environmental regulations.
