- Failure to comply could result in fines reaching three percent of a company's total gross revenue, though Pre-existing AI systems receive a four-month grace period before enforcement begins.
- Google, Meta, and TikTok have already established labeling policies, with Google's SynthID tool tracking more than 100 billion images, while "evidently artistic" satirical works and personal content remain exempt.
