Brussels: European Commission spokesman Olof Gil said that the options for restricting trade with Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory or prohibiting them were in the hands of European Union member States. This came at the daily press conference of Commission speakers, Friday, in response to a question about the statements of the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Callas.
European Union (EU) Commission spokesperson Olof Gill said that options to restrict or ban trade with Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territories were presented to member states in June, but no agreement was reached on any of them.
