Addis Ababa, -- Ethiopia's Ministry of Mines has reported that gold export generated over 2.1 billion dollars during the nine months of the 2017 Ethiopian fiscal year.

The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MoTRI) says Ethiopia’s export trade has reached “an unprecedented level,” generating over 5.3 billion US dollars in the first three quarters of the June-ending 2024/25 fiscal year.
