Estos hermanitos estuvieron desaparecidos durante tres años. Décadas después, el menor de ellos intenta reconstruir qué pasó
In 2003, Pablo and his two sisters, Sara, disappeared from Buenos Aires, Argentina, after their mother fled to escape violence. Now Pablo is actively reconstructing his early childhood history to resolve lingering questions.
Their three-year disappearance ended in 2006 when a social worker recognized a photo on a public utility bill. Missing Children Argentina facilitated this discovery, reuniting the siblings with their father, Jorge Garc, in Caseros.
At age 16, Pablo turned to boxing to build confidence while grappling with childhood trauma. He describes the sport as "El deporte fue un salvavidas en mi vida," a lifeline that helped him confront internal struggles.
Contacting Missing Children Argentina, Pablo requested case records after visiting his mother in late 2023. He then visited a tribunal in San Mart to review his case file and clarify details from his past.
Now a physical education teacher in Avellaneda, Pablo hopes to establish a safe space for vulnerable children. He views his experience as motivation to support others, stating he wants "mi propio lugar para los chicos" facing similar circumstances.
