Hungarian SMEs may be completely exempt from all ESG data reporting requirements until mid-2027, announced Richárd Szabados, State Secretary for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Technology, on his Facebook page on Friday.
Citing the need to reduce administrative burdens and boost competitiveness, small companies would be exempt from reporting ESG data until 2027. Large companies would also be given a grace period for reporting.
Corporate administrative burdens related to ESG could be significantly reduced.
