German authorities have thwarted a potential large-scale attack on the country's energy infrastructure thanks to morning dew that rendered some of the prepared explosive devices unusable. It was announced yesterday that a 48-year-old German citizen suspected of the series of sabotage attacks was detained in the Aachen region, near the borders with Belgium and the Netherlands.
