Switzerland: The Young Greens' "Environmental Responsibility Initiative" is met with both approval and rejection. But the plans outlined in it remain vague: This could ultimately backfire.

A relative majority of the Swiss population (49%) would currently reject the Young Greens initiative for environmental responsibility, which will be on the agenda of the votes on 9 February 2025, according to a first survey by the gfs.bern institute published on Friday on behalf of the SSR. Forty-five percent of those surveyed are in favor of the yes.
