Endangered Black-Faced Spoonbill Forages for Food in Oura River, Nago City, Okinawa

[Nago] On the 9th, a migratory and endangered black-faced spoonbill was observed searching for food in the Oura River in Oura, Nago City. The bird is entirely white, with a black beak, eyes, and legs. It was searching for food by dipping its spoon-like beak into the water and moving it from side to side.
