According to preliminary results from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the real (price-adjusted) order backlog in the manufacturing sector rose by 0.3% in February 2025 compared to January 2025, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects. Compared to February 2024 of the previous year, the order backlog rose by 1.3% in calendar-adjusted terms.
