On the way to Aveyron, the head of state suggested that more wolves could be slaughtered and that the accumulation of rules imposed on herdsmen should be allowed.


"We're not going to let the wolf grow and go to massifs where it competes with activities that are ours," said the head of state, on a trip to Aveyron.
The President of the Republic will be present in Aveyron on Thursday 3 July. He will visit Roquefort-sur-Soulzon, on the occasion of the 100 years of the cheese AOP, as he promised at the Agricultural Fair.
