Although a week has passed since the start of the academic year in Gaziantep, the teacher shortage in some classrooms has not been resolved. Ali Arpat, the head of the Gaziantep branch of Eğitim-İş (Education Workers' Union), stated that the problem could have been planned in advance and called for the employment of permanent teachers.
