Elizabeth Rose Silvestri (nee McIntyre), age 76, passed away peacefully on February 8 at the Misericordia Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Elizabeth was deeply proud of her roots, and carried that pride throughout her life. A woman of deep and abiding faith, Elizabeth found her greatest peace in her relationship with God and in active participation in the life of the Church.
