A CO-accident in Langenrohr (Tulln district) claimed eleven injured on Tuesday evening. The trigger was a "Heizschwammerl", reported Philipp Gutleder of the emergency call of Lower Austria with reference to the police. The victims were taken with poisoning symptoms to the clinics Tulln, Hollabrunn, Krems and St. Pölten. The Red Cross was in operation with seven ambulances and two emergency doctors.
Presumably, carbon monoxide poisoning led to large-scale use in the Tulln district.
