Toyota reveals all-new, all-electric Highlander
The 2027 Highlander is Toyota’s first U.S.-assembled three-row electric SUV with up to 320 miles range and fast charging in about 30 minutes, expanding its North American BEV lineup.
- The 2027 Toyota Highlander will be an all-electric SUV, no longer offering gasoline or hybrid powertrains in North America.
- The Highlander will have a base front-wheel-drive model with a 77 kWh battery offering up to 458 km of range, while all-wheel-drive versions can have up to 338 horsepower and 511 km of range with a larger battery option.
- The new Highlander features a modern exterior design and a tech-forward cabin with a large touchscreen, customizable lighting, and a panoramic roof option, while being assembled in the US with American-made batteries.
