On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, South Carolina voters head to the polls for the general election to decide key federal, state, and local races, with polling places open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Before Election Day, over 838,000 people voted early, according to the South Carolina State Election Commission, following the conclusion of the early voting period on Saturday, October 31.
Voters must bring a government-issued photo identification, such as a South Carolina driver's license or U.S. passport, to their designated precinct. State law prohibits campaign apparel within 200 feet of polling entrances.
Floridians are voting on three constitutional amendments, including Amendment 1, which would increase the Budget Stabilization Fund limit to 25% and require annual transfers of up to $750 million.
Polls close at 7 p.m. today, with results beginning shortly after. Florida approved changes to voter identification requirements under HB 991, effective January 1, 2027, following the November 2026 general election.
