When the bus left, the students thought they were just joking. But after half an hour, they realized that they weren't coming back for them at all.
The students from Ipolyság had to make transfers to reach Vienna, where their parents sent them a bus.
The tour leader from the Slovak town of Šahy left eight high school students, aged 15 to 17, in France because they had behaved inappropriately the previous night and were disturbing the peace. Their parents then had to arrange for their return to Slovakia.
