Editorial: Use state's congressional might for study to tame the Mississippi

We call on House Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader Steve Scalise to help reverse shutting down funding for a major Corps of Engineers study of issues the lower Mississippi River. The study is desperately needed and will more than pay for itself. Louisiana's congressional delegation should get the funds restored.
