- Based on FIRs and chargesheets filed by The CBI, which took over the investigation in 2020, The Enforcement Directorate case alleges a complex conspiracy involving multiple individuals in the murder.
- Bhaskar Reddy was arrested by The CBI on April 16, 2023, for his alleged involvement in the murder conspiracy, marking a pivotal development in the probe.
- Initially investigated by state police, the case was transferred to The CBI in 2020, which continues to pursue conspiracy allegations involving several individuals connected to the murder.
