ED conducts fresh searches at Punjab minister Sanjeev Arora’s premises in PMLA case

- Searches spanned five locations across Delhi, Gurugram, and Chandigarh, including an office of Hampton Sky Realty Limited, following registration of a fresh case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act , 2002.
- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann criticized the operation, noting this is the third raid on Arora in one year, and accused the BJP-led Centre of using investigative agencies as "weapons."
- The Aam Aadmi Party called the raids a political witch hunt ahead of early elections in Punjab, while the ED continues investigating alleged financial irregularities and foreign exchange violations.

Who is Sanjeev Arora? Punjab minister arrested by ED after raids in money laundering case
Earlier in the day, the ED had carried out a search at Arora's official residence in Chandigarh's Sector 2 area. Around 20 ED officials had reached Arora's residence in the early hours of Saturday for the raid. Searches in the case were also carried out at premises in Delhi and Gurugram.
