The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has begun rolling out its programme for the provision of assistive devices to children with disabilities in The Gambia, as part of a regional effort to strengthen inclusion and reduce vulnerability.

The engagement at Metzy Residence yesterday brought together government officials, ECOWAS representatives and organisations of persons with disabilities to present the programme, outline its implementation and build collaboration at national level.
