A study has reported that the consumption of "ultra-processed foods" is associated with decreased concentration and an increased risk of dementia. Ultra-processed foods are foods that are industrially produced and contain large amounts of salt, sugar, fat, and additives, and include carbonated drinks, processed meats, sweet breads, snacks, ready-made meals, and instant noodles.
