East Trail boys of summer reach world stage in 1967

East Trail’s 5-0 win over Windsor sent the British Columbia club to Williamsport, where it opened against eventual champion West Tokyo.

In the summer of 1967, a group of young ballplayers from East Trail carried the hopes of a city across Canada and all the way to the Little League World Series. Their journey reached a high point in Valleyfield, Que., where East Trail defeated Windsor, Ont., 5-0 to win the Canadian Little League championship.
