It is estimated that the fire caused $15,000 in damage.

MEDIC: 1 person taken to the hospital after house fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – MEDIC says it took one person to the hospital after an east Charlotte house fire. It happened around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon on East 35th Street, just off The Plaza. 30 firefighters got it under control in less than 20 minutes.
