Lehigh University wrestling edges Cornell as Crookham makes season debut
Sheldon Seymour delivered when it mattered most.The graduate student’s 8-2 decision over Greg Diakomihalis at 125 pounds clinched a 20-17 victory for No. 22 Lehigh over No. 20 Cornell on Saturday in front of a sellout crowd of 1,821 at Grace Hall. The win capped a three-bout comeback for the Mountain Hawks, who rallied from a 17-11 deficit.

The annual dual between longtime rivals Lehigh and Cornell once again came down to the final bout. Graduate student Sheldon Seymour delivered an 8-2 decision over Greg Diakomihalis capping a three-bout Lehigh run to close out the dual and give the 22nd ranked Mountain Hawks a 20-17 win over the No. 20 Big Red Saturday in front of a sellout crowd of 1,821 inside Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall.
