Eagles struggles continue in loss to Whitewater

After dropping two straight conference games the time was not right for one of the worst shooting nights of the season for the UW-La Crosse men's basketball team.

Warhawks Take Down 18th-Ranked Eagles

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball team were able to close out the game against 18th-ranked UW-La Crosse, fending off a late comeback by the Eagles to take a WIAC road win. The Warhawks defeated the Eagles 63-60 with a 22-point game from Luke Bara (Muskego, Wis./Muskego).

Women's Basketball Unable to Catch Falcons at Home - University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball team fell to UW-River Falls, 71-52, at the Sonnentag Event Center. The Blugolds were outscored 17-4 in the second quarter as UW-River Falls established a lead they would not relinquish. UWEC forced 18 turnovers, converting them into 19 points, but it was not enough to overcome UW-River Falls' 13 3-pointers.
