Yesterday we had to give the news that Electronic Arts executed layoffs of between 300 and 400 employees. Part of that figure came from Respawn, who in addition to working on Star Wars Jedi titles and collaborating with BitReactor at Star Wars Zero Company, were beginning to develop a Titanfall spin-off that will no longer see the light. Yesterday, Bloomberg reported that EA is initiating another round of layoffs, cutting 400 developers—100 of which are from Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall, Apex) and around 300 from other EA-owned studios.
