Loenhout Crash Closed E19 to Antwerp Until Late Afternoon

Near Loenhout, the E19 is completely closed in the direction of Antwerp after a pile-up between 4 trucks and 1 car. A truck lost its load of carrots. These now have to be cleared. 1 passenger in the car was injured.

Due to a serious accident involving multiple trucks, the E19 motorway towards Antwerp in Loenhout was completely blocked for about eight hours. Just after 15:00, the emergency services were able to open one of the two lanes. The accident is causing a heavy evening rush hour in the region anyway.
