E-Bus Revolution in Goa! Smart City Initiative Changes the Face of Panaji, Passengers More than Double

Electric buses are bringing a major transformation in public transport under the Smart City initiative in Panaji, Goa, with monthly ridership increasing to over 1,20,000 in March 2025 from 49,000 in March 2024. According to a passenger, 'There is a lot of traffic in a smart city, so now everyone prefers to go by electric bus instead of their personal vehicle, it saves time and also leads to savings.'
