Dutch Game Garden (DGG), an umbrella organization for the Dutch games industry, will cease to exist from next year. Due to “a changed subsidy landscape”, it is no longer possible for the organization to close the budget. In doing so, the Netherlands is losing a “pillar” in its games industry, says general director Martine Spaans of the Dutch Games Association.
