Durham police Safe Shop initiative leads to multiple arrests in Oshawa

Durham police continue to crack down on retail theft in Oshawa. Officers set up a Safe Shop initiative at a plaza at Harmony Road North and Taunton Road East over the weekend. Officers were in the area to deter criminal activity and as a result six people were arrested, leading to numerous charges and one adult diversion.
